Differences in EX/LX oil pans..
Yeah so are there any signifigant differences in the old pans.. i know for a fact that:
1.) the EX is aluminum and the Lx/Dx is Steel
2.) the EX doesn't use a gasket, it only uses liquid gasket to seal to the block (this comes from the book and from the dealership)
3.) However, the LX does use a gasket
reason i'm asking is that I have a spare EX aluminum oil pan that I was going to tap the hole for my return line for turbo. That way when I'm ready I can just swap and go. Are there any differences in the pans as far as bolting up, clearances etc?
