AEM v2 vs. AEM short ram
The V2 is a 2 chamber design. A big chamber into a smaller chamber, into your throttle body. It's supposed to help charge the intake air so you have more air going in at any given time, like a reverse bottle-neck effect. It's more advanced technologically, but like sickcycle said: "The performance gain is negligible."
i use to have the aem short ram. i lost alotta power on the low end, but once i got pass 3500 rpms, there was a little difference in power. and now i have the aem v2, and its much better then the short ram. my low end is alot better, and it pulls and sounds pretty good.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

yeah a short ram does wonders after a cold start in weather below 0C (yeah i use C cause F sucks) on 14" wheels. haha what a power gain. too bad my car is so slow with the hfp wheels on and with a D17 in general.
