it says its a cold air intake on the site but i see people have the v2 in a short ram design...which is it? and if i get the intake can it clear the hood with a obx throttle body spacer?

Best bet is to go the cheap way and get the AEM short ram its the same d@mn thing only ALOT cheaper!! I love mine, just thought though, if you got the money just laying around then get the V2.

V2 is one the best intakes you can buy for the 7thgen! And yes, I had to replace mine 3 times but thats what lifetime warranty is all about... and there is a way to remedy that! but if you want to see how it cracks, click the links to my pics

get a short ram d@mnit ive had no problems with mine lol although the v2 looks cooler, which is more important to you? its not like either one gives you alot more hp but they sound awesome and K&N is focused more towards domestic cars they make me throw up.
