i just bought off my friends 95 civic cx hatchback his hks exhaust......it came with the rear section and the pipe that goes all the way back to the cat and it comes w/ the cat.......will this fit? it only cost me a $100,,cuz he wrecked his car and is parting everything out...<<<and so i got a deal

you may be able to do it since its just the rear section... maybe some shop can do it for you. Maybe you can look into that, i'd be interested in finding out what happens...

lol, its the same thing....

The only way you'll make it fit is if you cut off the muffler, get a new pipe made, cut off the hangers on the muffler, and put new hanger on it. AKA you wasted your money and you could have just got a muffler.

i already have a muffler........<<<and i wanted a hks cuz i like it better, i am going to try to make it fit....if not i guess i will sell it.......but $100 and nothing is wrong w/ it...i can make more than 100 dollars for it i guess???

I bought an HKS exhaust from a user off here and ended up having to repipe the thing anyway. The stupid thing was on my car for 5 minutes before I took it back and had him put the old one on. It was the worse sounding exhaust I have ever heard. a complete waste of my money

true, but his post count isnt far from yours. More than likely it won't fit, but what if it can.. Have you tried it? Say it costs $100 to make it fit.. $200 for an HKS exhaust.. doesnt sound bad to me. Still 150 less than what people are selling HKS exhausts for.

The rear section may have some issues with fitment, but any experienced muffler shop can do piping for you....a buddy of mine just had 3in. straight piping done for $120, downpipe-muffler...I would just recommend talking to local muffler shops....
