Smile ATTN: OBX LX header owners

I just have a few quick questions. I searched and didnt see the answer I was looking for.

Does the lack of a cat-converter throw your check engine light on?
How was the fit/install of this header?
And for the PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS HEADER, did you feel a difference in torque?

Thank you for the answers to these quesions.

Also, if you have any other advice on some reasonable mods for LX's I would be greatful to hear about them. Thanks Guys!

yes it will trip the check engine light. if you buy an 02 sim it will bypass the issue. the install fit is perfect. only thing is that if you tighten the nuts too tight you will snap the studs off the block. and yes i did notice some nice improvments in torque nothing great but its worth the money when you consider how much k&n and aem intakes are.

keep it stock. dont waste money on any bolt ons. iether do an engine swap go turbo or be all show no go.

Are there any Plug in O2 sensors?? Cause I really dont want to do the splice in type.

If it is with a stock exhaust it wont be that much louder though right.

I really just want to gain some torqe low end. If someone has a better idea then a header then I'm open to it.
As far as the intake, I think im just going to throw a K&N filter on there and call it a day.

Well, after thinking about this, I have come to the conclusion that I am just going to do AEM Short Ram Intake, Cam Gear, and Pully set, and call it a day. Im not out to conquer the world, just to make a little more low end power/torque. What do you guys think of that?
