What does the o2 sim do...does it add power...doesnt most headers have the space already for the stock o2 sensors...just wondering...

it is for LX/DX civics that have the cat-converter in the header and when they get a aftermarket header it takes out the cat and throws a error code. the sim just tricks the ecu to not throw the code

yeah, it gets rid of P0420 CEL's ... it's a very cool item. It's quite a bit more expensive (around $75-80) than your typical o2 simulator, but there is nothing that needs to be spliced or re-wired ... just literally plug and play.

well you dont have to use that o2 sim converter.i got a hp racing header with the
cat. replacer and it works fine.ły engine light came on,went out, came back on.
Then i did a reset and its stays out without the o2.works just fine

just do the mechanical sim its costs $3.99 at autozone works great!!!!!!!
