Parts Swap Help
I have an 02 Civic LX 4dr D17A1
1. Will the trunk from an Acura EL fit on my car?
2. Will the wiring harness for the tailights on the EL trunk plug into the stock harness on my car?
3. Will the grille from an 04-05 Civic fit my car?

5. Ive heard that the AEM V2 intake has had a tendency to snap at the throttle body, true?

1. I've been trying to find the trunk lid for years to do this swap. Someone who has a civic in canada told me that in order to do it, you need to replace the trunk lid and the bumper because the bumper holes don't line up. (i have no idea what he's talking about the bumper for...)
2.wiring harness: i don't know. But it shouldn't be THAT different if you have to just do it without clips.
3.04-05 grilles are different, so i would say no. just find a 01-02 coupe grille if that is the one that you want (1 bar going across)
4. CAI v. SRI - i don't know. i haven't heard both to compare. go to a meet and see what people have

If you are looking for the 04+ EL trunk (the one in your picture), I don't believe it will fit since the tailights are slightly different sized than the 01-03 models. If you are after the 01-03 EL trunk, it will bolt right on, although you will also need to the remote trunk release feature as EL trunks don't have keyholes.

Rep Power: 255 man that sucks, i really wanted to do the trunk swap, if i had enough money, id get that trunk customized to fit but thats an issue....i think it would look cool since ur not gonna see one of them on the street too often...
