underdrive pulleys
ok there are underdrive pulleys for the alternator, the crank, power steering pulley, and the A/c?? im not sure about the A/c one. so any thoughts about this? did i miss anything?
unortdox has the full pulley did but it doesn;t come with belts, go with the aem pnes i was told by my friend who own a shop out here in rosenberg that the UO pulley are for racing because the pulley on top is a little too big and it makes a olt of noise when the car is on and u dont get the belts. BUt with the aem ones u don;t get the noise and the u get the replacment belts with it. Just stick with the Aem Tru Power pulleys

i have used UO crank pulleys on all of my previous civics. never had problems. im currently using the UO crank pulley on my 05 civic. i have 15k miles. so far so good! best mod for this car so far.
you WANT to use overdrive pulleys on the alt and power steering if you do use a crank pulley, the reason fo rthis is because you will underdrive the accesories to omuch if not. the overdrive pulleys make up the difference that the underdrive crank pulley uses. and gearbox is right do not use a crank pulley that is not dampened or has a harmonic balancer integrated. if you do you will see problems occur in the future

ya thats right. A smaller crank pulley will severely underdrive all accessories. Also our stock pullies have the harmonic damper to suppress crankshaft vibrations.
