Yeah, free is nice when it happens, but that is not very often for most of us. I'd like to know when you have some free stuff too. Til then I'm going to get some from www.stylinmotors.com . Mine need replacing bad. Dry rot and such starting to set in.
i have a ebay CAI on my car right now that puts the filter in behind the bumper under the battery tray. i always take off teh extension pipe and run it as a short ram in the winter. so far going back and forth i really have had much of a difference in power at all. at least nothing the butt dyno can feel. on another note the set up you have is actually pretty good. it is goo to have a larger dia piping at the filter ad have it taper down as it makes the transition to the next pipe. this create a velocity ctack effect and help draw in air.

everything out there is abrasive....could take off paints and primers....good old steel brush or steel wool...ummm I also tried some batt acid cleaner and it did some good...
could do the coke thing or the baking soda and water ....or get some rust converter at a hardware store or at a paint store it turns the rust into a sandable compound...just be careful around the paints...and try it on something small and insignificant first....

Start somewhere. Gotta get rid of the rust, before it gets rid of your ride. Do one piece at a time, and you'll get it done.
Crack kills... But then again... So do I...

Gawd Dayum... I'm a little late, but in looking at that stylinwhateveritis.com You have got to be out of your damn mind to pay 139 bux for a fuggin upper and lower radiator hose. I don't understand how people on that ef site can so willingly be pwned like that... I think I may be in the wrong business if that's all it takes to make people happy.
