I was thinking of getting the buddy club spec 3 catback for a 2001 ex, anybody have an experience with it ?

they dont make the spec 3 for the 7thgen. they do make the plain jane buddy club pro spec for the 4door.

Nope, I'm using the DCSports catback on mine, and so far it is the best one I've had. I didn't like the GReddy one NEARLY as much as this one. Haven't tried the BC one though. If you do get it, let me know how you like it.

i can bet that exhaust will rob low end, but give a somewhat gain to the high end.

from the way i see it, when your driving slowly or moderate, air is "stored" inside the muffler piece. whereas, when you go WOT, it 'forces' the air flow to come out giving you full performance at high end while sacraficing low end for quiet sound.


and that exhaust meets JAPAN specs, maybe not in the u.s. im sure that wouldnt be acceptable in CA

ya something like that, but in Canada their not too bad on that stuff, I ve got freinds with all motor gsr's and they don;t get pulled over
