ok, basically, I had a 5 speed LX back then. If you have an EX, it may look a little different. Basically what I'm saying is, I didnt need a nut b/c where the screw goes in, it has a thread and the washer keeps it in place. I guess you can use a nut too furthur tighten it but I never needed it.... it's tight enough to crack so why put more stress?
My view of the V2, it's great!! If I bought another Honda, I would get another V2. You'll definately feel a little something extra after 4K.... but it kind of sucks in the summer (like all short rams). ANd the sound is like no other intake on the market. And for Lx/DX engines, power tends to fall flat after 6K RPM, but this intake makes up for it.

i'm just kidding about those haha's i think it's cool that you have some italian. don't mind me. i'm not an A-hole like that. i was just being stupid. i'm hoping that i'll have some sort of HP difference after installing the V2. but i'm doing it mostly for better breathing and to free up some space in the engine bay.
this is a couple of pictures of my car.

yes, but it was on a different car with a different tranmission.... Injen SRI on an auto EX.... it didnt do anything except make noise. I wouldnt say the V2 would make you fly but it's noticeable
i'm still going to put a rubber bushing for the brace braket for my intake cause i can't afford for it to break off. i don't drive hard but i just don't want that to happen to me thats all. hey, your red civic is nice man!. i'm not going to get tint on my car. don't really want it. it'll be just fine the way it is now. my car is ALL stock! LOL. except for the light bulbs for my head lamps. i have those sylvania silverstar lights in them. i should be getting my enkei mm2 rims bolted on my car in about 1 and a half weeks from now....or so, heh!. can't wait. i'm tired of driving around with stupid *** stock hubs and cheapo firestone tires. it's going to be GO TIME MY FRIENDS! damn! my car is going to look sweet with mesh rims. and a 215/45/17 size tire!
i'd reccomend that nobody drive their cars "HARD ENOUGH" cause civics aren't race cars. they just look good. but ofcourse you can make a civic into a race car beast!.

Uhh, sometimes I HAVE to drive the engine hard b/c the car wont move without some good stepping! But as I said, when applying gas, do it gradually!
oh ofcourse!. i agree totally. sometimes my car seems faster on some days than other days...it's weird. i don't know why. it's not like my car is old. it's only got 49K miles on it. and i use mobil 1 super synthetic oil and also use a mobil oil filter too!. when i apply pressure to my clutch, brake, or gas pedal. i don't hit it!. i don't mash it really fast. i step on them slowly and then gradually press harder and harder sloooowly. i'm starting to wonder if i actually need a rubber bushing if in a person that doesn't drive like that. you know, a person that mashes the gas? maybe i'd be just fine. i dunno. i baby my car to a point. i'm going to get ready this weekend and give it a good paint wax job after i wash it really really super good. (as always). HEH!. i know my car is just a civic. but i absolutely love the **** outa my car. i'd die for my car....uh?...oh!....

mmmm.... mashing the gas is 1 thing.... but there is 1 more thing I should let you know. My brother and I did an experiment where we were on an uphill, I had the hood open. We wanted to see how much the engine moved during heavy load..... and believe it, it moved a good amount... so I still suggest putting some sort of rubber piece there.
thats cool and all but. i live in southwest florida. NO HILLS HERE MY FRIEND. just flat land.....flat....
i'm still going to use a rubber washer bushing for my intake anyways. just for shock absorbant. don't wanna take that chance of my pricey intake breaking

i have no opinion about the intake cause i haven't installed it yet. but from maybe the looks of it and the craftsmanship of it. i'd say it's a great looking and well made intake so far. if thats what you are asking of me.
