doesn't look it. just get the rubber washer like the pic i posted so it can flex when installed. otherwise it will just break.

can you post another picture up cause i couldn't see the last one you posted. there was just a box with an X in it. and could i just go to home depot and pick up some rubber washers? or should i go somewhere like pepboys or autozone? wouldn't they have some rubber washers?

actually this design is better than the 1st one. yes, rubber washers will work. All you need is 1 so homedepot wuold be better. All I had was some plastic piece my dad got from an old copy machine.... basic idea is that you should put something there.... also avoid going from little throttle to full throttle too quickly, gradually give more gas.... dont just slam on the gas.... thats how I broke my 2nd.

yeah. they're cool man!. AEM's new DRYFLOW air filter is pretty cool cause you don't have to oil it. just wash and rinse and let dry

i wanted to ask if i'm only going to have to need 1 rubber washer for my intake's brace braket.

OH, and another thing!. my damn intake didn't come with a nut for my screw for the brace braket!!! all i got is 1 metal washer, 1-1inch screw, and some rubber peice that i think is for the air sensor...(right?) and 2 small AEM adjustable clamps. whats up with them NOT giving me a nut for my bolt screw for my brace braket?. this is to you gearbox--if i end up getting a think *** rubber washer like you did. than i'm going to have to end up getting a much more longer screw bolt for my brace braket cause this small one that i got isn't going to reach the other side of everything to be able to be screwed on and tightened. can someone let me know whats up? i'm mostly buggen cause i didn't get a FREAKIN NUT! for my brace braket screw.

last I remember, a nut wasnt necessary but a longer screw is. I bought a bunch from Autozone.... the size for the screw is M6-1.0 X 16mm
edit: take a look at my member's ride pics.... but maybe it's different on D17A2.....

i'm confused about the a1 and a2? what does that mean? i have a d17a2 motor too. i have a manual stock civic engine. why does it seem like my V2 intake looks different from your V2 pic in your ride gallery? and WOW! that musta sucked big time when you seen that crack!

But now, back on topic... CuRiOsFiSh be sincere: what did you notice about the V2 when you put it on your car? What did it enhance in the car?
