High Flow cat
random technology
carsound
megan (test pipe)
cusco(sp*)
check out vendors www.truehonda.com www.dezod.com www.robearracing.com and ebay

i would do as much research as possible. some 'hi flow cats' throw check engine lights, some dont. some work better, some are legal, illegal, etc.

Random Tech is a real cat, not a test pipe and will not throw a CEL.

same purpose of installing any other exhaust part. more power, air flow, larger pipes if neccesary. and yes, it could make your overall sound stage louder since theirs no restrictions besides a resonator on the catback. but if your running an hi flow cat and straight pipes with no resonator to the muffler, then its gonna get loud
^ you would, but probably not much
im thinking of getting a high flow cat, right now i have an aftermarket header and cat-back exhaust. would a hight flow cat bolt right up with this setup? my car is an ex

A high flow cat is a high flow catalytic converter that converts unburned exhaust gas to safe elements and water. Cats are typically found on OEM downpipes and on all production vehicles, but are typically restricting. Hence why people want high flow cats. Less restricting.
I have a megan downpipe and I'm fairly happy with it. Faster rpms, higher rpm power, and more of a kick when vtec clicks on. I did this trick and have yet to get a CEL in a month and half. Although up here they don't do emissions tests YET. You will most likely fail with the fake high flow cats. Get random tech if you want a true high flow cat. BTW I've only noticed a small change in exhaust smell and it's very rarely that I smell it too.
