K&N intake on ebay

K&N intake on ebay
Ebay is selling a K&N cold air intake for our cars on ebay for $101. It says it was tested on our cars and gained 8hp to the wheels. Do you think this is true? I want an intake but a good one. How does K&N compare to AEM and Injen? Should I build high end power since we don't have a lot of low end power, or should I work on low end power?
