Plug Wires?

Anyone know if Nology has produced coil-on-plug conversions for the 1.7L Civics yet? I talked to them late last year and they said that they were working on the brackets for it. I checked back in early Febuary of this year but they still hadn't completed the brackets! Anyways just wondering if anyone else happens to know if the HotWires have been made for our applicaton yet!

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
there is really no point in doing this, you might gain like .01 hp by doing this, the d17 coil is efficent already

Ignition Solutions

I found a link in the DIY forum for an upgrade ignition coil system by a company called Ignition Solutions called plasma coils, it boosts the peak to peak amperage by like two fold but I have no idea what that means. However it really caught my interest for a couple of reasons; A. because of the ease of installation (i am sure you are all aware of the ease with witch our distributorless ignition system coil over plugs can be removed, one screw and then pop its out) and B. because I know how vital a good spark is to high performance and efficient combustion. The only setback I can see is the high price tag ($480 )!!! So I was curious if anybody has any feedback on these. Has anyone seen, bought or heard about them?

The plasma coils have been known to be kinda crappy and you don't gain much. That is only what I have read on this board though.

There is really no need to change the OEM coil packs. They are designed well.

plasma coils = crap. I'l let you in on a secret. Coil packs are better than wires, that's why they switched to that system in the new civics.
