K&N Typhoon short ram intake??

I'm surprised nobody brought this up since intakes seem to be the talk these days. So does anyone have it? It appears to make more hp than the fipk and looks pretty nice too.

Yup. I had it on my Civic. It was pretty nice, and it was somewhat stronger after 5K rpms...

Only after 5k? What about low end and how is the sound.

Sound is great, isn't too boomy at all, but it didn't give much (if any) low end power if that's what you mean.

Maybe around 4.5 to 5K actually... you could feel some difference in the mid-high range...
