Question about 05 Sedan Exhausts.

You know how the 05 sedan exhaust bends down becuase its hidden behind the bumper..are there any aftermarket exhausts for 05 vics yet? If so..are they specially designed to hang lower so the exhaust tip doesnt collide with the rear bumper?

My 01 bends downward at the tip too.
I think all sedans have it that way.

Companies make exhausts specific for sedans because the length is not the same as the coupe.
I think the sedan is slightly longer.

Your best bet is to take whatever exhaust you have to a shop and have them weld on longer hangers or something.

i have an invidia exhaust for my 05 sedan. when we installed it, the tip of the muffler is really touching the bumper. we tried to modify the bracket so that the mullfer with stay low, but if you do this the pipe will touch the sway bar. our only solution was to cut the the bumper, which we did.

the only exhaust that I can think of quickly that bends upward is HKS axleback..... if youre talking about tips, just get a tip that bends up.

the guy at my auto shop that did the exhaust heat up the bumper area a little bit and it's not touching anymore (instead of cutting it)... no black burn or anything like that..
