Hi guys. I've got a good deal on an injen cold air intake for my civic but the thing is that its for manual transmission not for automatic that I have. My question is: whats the difference between these two and is it okay to install cai manual on civic with auto transmission? You guys are experts. Please help me.
it wont fit man sorry. CAI's r only available for manuals because the transmission casing itself is much smalle rhten the auto, so the piping is able to fit down there. all u can get for autos is a SRI, short ram intake.

Injen is the only company that makes a true CAI especially for an automatic.
Most if not all CAI's can be made to fit an automatic, but you will run into lots of fitment issues such as rubbing and scraping.

actually i had the Injen CAI for auto on my auto Civic then i sold it to smokedcivic who has a manual, it fit on his. so it could be vice versa as it was in this situation. ask to him to see how it fit.

But you have to ghetto tie it because the brackets won't match up.
The transmission bracket location is not the same for autos and manuals.

Get the right one that fits for auto.
the manual and auto ones are diff. if they were similar enough, im pretty sure they would've used the same part # for both applications.
buy the correct one so you wont encounter any issues.
