cheap, easy mods + D17 + good hp gains = not possible. it's an oxymoron.

if going nos, get the bolt-ons cause it will help. I had to go test my exhaust today, so I took my megan racing downpipe off and dc headers and put the stock one on and let me tell you, I feel like I lost so much hp at least. My car felt way slower. I cant wait to put the downpipe/header back on...

D00D! YOU'VE GOT ENOUGH NAWZZZ IN THERE TO BLOW YOURSELF TO PIECES, PERIOD! Bahaha! I just watched that again last night for the hell of it. So great...

Back on topic, though... honestly, nitrous probably IS the best bang for the buck as far as the D17 is concerned. But, even that isn't cheap. And, really, if you're going to spend that much why not go the extra step and just turbo your car. But, really, if you think about it... if you're gonna turbo the D17, why not go a little further and just do a K20 or K24 swap. But, I mean, c'mon now, if you're gonna go that far, why not go a 'bit further and do a K20 or K24 swap and turbo THAT?! But, then you might as well throw in some nitrous, too, for the hell of it. Actually, now that I think about it... just sell the 'Vic and get something better, LOL.
