megan racing test pipe

just installed the megan racing downpipe and test pipe. real easy install no problems at all. i used the spark plug non foulers to remove the check engine light. so i have no cel which is nice. the only thing is its extremely loud. it has a real nice deep tone at low rpms, but at high rpms from liike 4500- redline it sounds all riced out so i dont like that too much but o well i live with it. anyone else have this problem?

Because you are using straight pipe.
You can try to put bigger midpipe resonator to elimnate some raspy sound but probably won't do much.

i totally agree. down low it's real nice, but it gets soo ricey in the higher rpm. in my opinion that is it's only downfall.

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
hey 02 your going to be squeezing. When you squeeze, the car will sound hella nice. Better than a turbo without a bov.

i bought that megan racing downpipe, but it doesn't bolt on to my dc sports 4-1 header. It bolts right on to my greddy exhaust but the angle of the dc header won't allow me to bolt on the other portion of the pipe, just to let some of you know before you go out and buy it. I'm gonna buy the megan racing header so i shouldn't have anymore problems. hopefully

yeah the part i bought on ebay was the megan racing high flow cat, connects to the header and the exhaust. that didn't fit my dc header. just wondering if the high flow cat io got would fit a stock header?

well does the pipe curve up in front of the engine. i dont think that megan racing makes a high flow cat i thinks that its a test pipe. either way it should be the same and fit a stock header. post a pic of it

I have the DC header with the Megan test pipe and it worked after I cut and extended it 2 inches for better alignment.
