i just got a axle back and the holes for the bolts where too small so i drilled the holes large enough for the bolts to fit but not spring with it what i really want to know is do you need that spring back on.

with an axel back, my friends integra, he didnt use the spring because it didnt fit, nor did he use the stock bolt, he used the extra bold that came with the exhaust, im guessing urs didnt come with the extra bolt, just dont worry about the spring

my hi-power bolted on real nice with the stock bolts and springs. sound sick too....i cant wait till i get the injen intake!

The springs are so the system can flex a bit which removes stress on the piping. You dont have to use the springs, but if possible try to use them.
