RSR ExMag Catbacks
RSR ExMag Catbacks
Are the RSR ExMag Catbacks any good?
http://www.needboost.com/part/rsr_exmag_catbacks/
I am looking for an exhaust system that is:
1. Semi quiet
2. The muffler is a slim design so it isnt hanging too low
3. The tip isnt too large.
If these SUCK, any suggestions???
Thanks

If I'm not mistaken it's prob the quietest exhaust on the market, not sure about how low it hangs. The tip is 4" but fits rather well in the cutout of the stock 01-03 bumpers. Havent seen it in the 04-05 models. From what Ive heard everyone who has theirs love it. Search around the site and you can find info from some members who have it.
The RSR is a great exhaust. You will definitely love it if you purchase it. Unfortunately the tip is rather large at 100 mm (3.937 inches). On the coupe, it will look pretty OEM. On the sedan, its gonna stick out a little.
In the end its your call.

They don't suck at all, its probably one of the best street exhausts on the market, and you pay for it. The muffler is tucked up, probably higher than the factory one, so all you see is the tip hanging down under the bumper, it fits into the stock cutout. The tip is 4" in diameter, but its short enough it doesn't look very large and the polished part is just a sleeve. There's a 3.5" pipe inside it that the exhaust actually flows through. Its a very clean looking system, the only problem with it is that the system is not FULL stainless. The flanges will rust, as will the hardware and welds.... it makes dissasembly a pain in the *** if it ever needs to be done. Also the ceramic coating seems to come off as time goes on. No real effect on anything, but its kinda dumb that they put it on if most of it comes off.

Thats as good a pic as I can find... I don't have the exhaust anymore but it was quite good.
