ACT prolite

ACT prolite

I called optauto and ACT to see if the prolite would fit on my 03 LX they said it would't and i was wondering if any of you guys have it on an 03 i have a exedy clutch ready to go into my vic and wanted to get the flywheel done too. so let me hear some of your guys opinions

I think they are mistaken. What was their reasoning? It is still a D17.

well optauto said they weren't sure so then i called ACT and the rep there was 90% sure it didn't fit so im like wtf, you work for them and you are 90% sure? so what is your opinion Street does it fit because i really want to get it.

I have a Streetlite flywheel sitting in my garage. I should have time off work this week to install it so then I can tell you 100% whether it fits or not. I have heard of many memebers on this site using ACT flywheels. Most people feel the Prolite is too light for daily driving.

you sure about people saying its to light? The ones I've heard from have not said that, but i'll find out once my prolite comes in.

I have the act prolite installed on my civic. I use it for daily driving and am very happy with it.

some say its to light with boost but ok for NA

That's probably true. ^^

It's all subjective, I guess. I think it's only a 3lb. difference between the two anyway.

This may be kinda off topic, but my buddy has one on his m3, and it rattles at idle when the clutch is in and the car is in neutral. He said this is true of all lightened flys. Is it?
