Keeping in mind that neither actually gives any noticable gains, I'd take the Injen over the AEM - the Injen locates the filter behind the bumper cover, giving just a touch more protection than the AEM design, which sticks it right under the battery tray. Oh wait, I DID take the Injen over the AEM. He he.

None. Pointless. But hey, if you like your car to eat/rattle through the bottom end of your injen intake pipe, then by all means get it.

AEM all the way...remember v2 is like a shortram so you don't have to worry about being "protected behind the battery cover" if your that stupid to go in a puddle that big so the cone is in that much water then by all means you deserve whatever happens. (this is in reference for the v2). I got significant gains from the V2 as well. I don't know how much HP but I went from hitting constant 17.1 to hitting 16.8...this is not sea level times its at LACR so converted its like mid 16'z

Maybe you were so encouraged by the sound of the intake that you somehow sucked less then before? I'm sure the v2 didn't shave off .3 sec

V2, K&N FIPK, Injen RD, pick anyone...
V2 and K&N if youre worried about hydrolock and are lazy to clean the filter often.

if its the new design of the v2 and not the old one take that, cause mine broke due to the bigger pipe and the bracket not being strong enough it just snapped one day, so they have to send me a new one, i would say short ram is better then cold air, the v2 supposdely gives 5.5 hp where there cold air gives 2.2 both aem i mean, so i would say aem

Ok anyone correct me if im wrong: With V2, youre eliminating the possibility of water getting sucked in but if youre driving in hot weather, the V2 will be sucking very hot air and it will actually decrease power. With the injen two piece you can have the cold air being sucked in and when its raining, just convert it to short ram. So in hot weather, the injen should work better than V2. In colder weather the two intakes will perform very similar.
