Ordered revo ss, need bushings
Is capyoda the only one who sells them. I went to his site and they are sold out. Got my revo ss shipped two day. I'm running at the track Sun. Will it hold up without the upgrades. I'd rather have them if there is a way to get them by Sun.

if you can't get capyoda's or the ones from truehonda, you just have to pop the rubber ones off your stock shifter assembly.
people claim it doesn't make any difference whether they're aluminum or rubber...
whether or not the rubber will hold up at the track, i dont know.

I know it will work without, but I'm just worried about it holding up at the track. I'll call truehonda tomorrow. Thanks

the aluminum bushings do nothing but make the shifter feel more solid. OEM bushings are prefectly fine and wont hurt or enhance your performance.

if it works like it's supposed to it should shave a couple tenths in the 1/4 because your shifts will take less time due to the 50% reduction in throw?

sorry for being out of stock but u dont need it at the track or at all if u dont feel the need for one. its just another mod for the feel.
same with short shifter. it wont increase ur quarter mile time. some think it does but well.. ur clutch engagement is still the same.

I dont think so. at least, not for us. some people like to argue that u can engage the gears earlier/faster.
but it honestly still depends on ur clutch.. and for our tranny, it doesnt matter as much.
that doesnt mean the short shifter is a waste mod. for a lot of us, it makes driving a lot more fun.. and the shifting feel is definitely different.
have u put urs in yet? then u should know the difference.

I would be depressing the clutch faster if I had a revo SS. I am ordering one tomorrow. I dont know if it will increase times or not, but I have a pause when I am shifting, even when racing. It isnt long, just slight enough to notice there is a very very small pause. I think this will eliminate that and just help with clutch in and out. I dont know if the car will actually react to the quicker shift though. Is that what you are all saying?

yeah i shift pretty fast with the stock shifter, but the throw is so long . I figured the short shifter would at least knock off a .1 per gear.
One more question since I don't have time to search. What is greys upgrade kit and what does it do?

), and some neoprene (i think) rings to snug up the big pins holding the cables. this is all stuff you could get yourself, but he's not charging much, and it all fits (with a little effort, you know the drill).this is a must-have for the revo SS kit.

true honda doesnt sell the precise shift bearings. Or any sort of bearing that I can see. Does anybody have a link to their site and exactly where I can find them. I dont see them, and havent found them in a few days. I know other people should sell them as well, but cant find anything?
theres also another site but i cant remember the name of it..It has like a spider ont the site..and the bushings came in red aluminum...not that you see them anyway...I think cap yoda knows what site I am talking about...I just cant seem to remember...
