So I think I am gonna get the V2 for my 2002 Si. It being some where between an short ram and a CAI I am thinking of ways to make under the hood a bit more hospitable. So here is what I am thinking:
1. Get hondata Im gasket
2. get Im covered by jet-hot
3. Get Header also covered by jet hot.
So do you guys think that is a good idea? Its seems like it would cut down on some of the under hood heat thus the intake getting cooler air. So what do you guys think?

im having a hard time understanding what your trying to say. but if your trying to keep your air intake pipe cool, theirs exhaust wrap thats used for headers. check out www.horsepowerfreaks.com and many other websites, i never had expierence but im pretty sure it works enough to know the difference.
Yeah that is kinda what i am going for . I am trying to get the temp under the hood as close to ambiant temp as possible. So covering the intake pipe might help also. If i remember correctly all the stuff from jet hot helps reduce under hood temp like the hondata IM gasket. So that is what i am trying to do if that helps at all

Getting Hondata Gasket is enough, jet coating will be overdone.
There's heat sheild already on Stock header, its cool enough.
V2 is overrated, get CAI.
I have Hondata Gasket and Intake manifold is siginificantly cooler than before. good investment.
