Wow nice info but man what a pain in tha *** to do it.....
Its not plug and play at all...Would be worth it if you got a totaled car with front end in perfect shape for almost nothing but that is likely gonna happen unless your dad owns a scrapyard

what's your definition of plug and play?
b16/b18 into an ek is plug and play, provided you have a harness, mounts, intake, exhaust, axles. not that hard.
b18 into an em1 is even easier ... same with a k20a2 into an ep3 is plug and play. k20a into a dc5 is plug and play. what the hell are you talking about?

plug and play. here is the motor put it in plug it in done. thats plug and play
all thoes swaps require you to run new wires, change mounts, change exgaust systems and so forth some are easy some are not. none of thoes are plug and play.
another example changeing ecu, plug and play. get new ecu, plug it in and your done.

well swapping a k20 from a D17 is a tough job..You really have to know what you are doing..Its not like doing a break job.....
What i meant in terms of plug and play is like changing a 305 to a 350 chev..you know you use the same harness drivetrain etc etc..
Please dont flame me i know its not the same thing its just an example...
