i hate him... lol jk. but keeping a 2.25" exhaust for a turboed k20 isnt a good idea. unless hes only running like 5-6psi he definetly needs to get a bigger exhaust. not saying he has to sell it but just saying that it really wouldnt be a good idea to keep it on the car with a turbo application.
He's gona be geting this so it's gona be a sleeper untill he hits that switch http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/

that's not good. how would that switch effect the engine and cause it to blow? Open headers It was on the dyno and their wrx so they probaly moded it or the engine had enought.
Go here to look at the videos of the blown engine:

You can use the axle back from an RSX-S and the midpipe (with the RSX-S resonator). They fit right on the 7th gen. What the Exhaust shop needs to do is just extend from the cat to the RSX exhaust with bigger piping. This is for the LX. The EX has the cat under and so the exhaust may not need to be extended, just welded together. I was thinking about doing this because I got the whole RSX-S axle back and midpipe from a guy who took it off his car. It was $60. I never ended up doing it because of my 5th gen project. I was at the shop to have it done, but it was going to be $200 and I thought that was a little to much since the it was 'for-the-hell-of-it'
It would be a cost effective exhaust though and be sleeper. Oh ya, I did fit the RSX axle back on the hangers and it's too short to fit up to the edge of the bumper. It needs to be extended a few inches, but I forget exactly. It was 2 years ago!
