AEM cam gear and pullies wont do too much for you unless you tune it right.... the exhaust/header combo will be pricey.... as said by the devil himself (devilvtec) maybe 3-4 on a good day.

from what everyone says on here, you'll see no gains with those mods. they all say that would have spent their money on something else like ICE or looks. if you want to see our cars go fast its either swap or turbo.
someone on here had intake/header/exhaust/cam gear/flywheel and clutch that was pulling off 120 something whp i believe. not sure if it was offical.. but its hard to believe but i guess it varies in many situations.
d17's dont respond well to bolts on. investing hundred and hundreds of dollars for small amount of gains/power is definately not worth the investment.

bolt ons will become much more worth it with new ECU replacement options (hondata, AEM)
theres nothing wrong with the d17... just the EMS. with a full programable EMS and I/E/H cam gears, remove power steer/AC and some mild head work the d17 should put down 120-150 hp depending on how much you want to advance the timing

yeah, I'm focussing on the aesthetic aspects of my car seeing as how Im about to go off to college and will need the car to run well for the next 2-3 years.
IMO:
Nice Suspension + Nice Rims + axle-back exhaust = Nice car + slow but reliable (Accept your slowness, or sell it and buy an RSX or an older GSR)
Swap = Expensive as !@#$
Turbo = Semi-Expensive + engine doesn't last as long as stock and you can blow a gasket if you get carried away
It really depends on how much you want to get out of your D17 and how much money you have to work with.
I suggest focussing on aesthetic value and accepting the fact that D17s are slow as f*ck. If you want something fast, buy a CRX. If you want something aesthetically appealling and fast, buy an RSX. Otherwise, come to terms with what you have to work with or get something else.

I'll never accept it! I just broke the 100whp mark (dyno at 100.7 whp) and I'm not stopping there. Next goal, 110whp altho that's set a bit high.
