old news! this is actually a better design than most cai's out there though. due to the material used it is non heat conducting and it utilizes a air box instead of the traditional cone. looks better than most but hondas dont respond to mods really imo. they are already made very well and dont need much to reach thier max potential! its not worth the nearly 300$ it is listed as. try ebay you will get a way better deal
should be!
they dont mess aroudn
well i take that back
I had like 10 people ready to buy that thing like half a year ago and they TOOK FOREVER TO MAKE THE ****ING THING.
I wont buy one

i used to distribute for those guys. i actually have one on my s10 which doesnt respond to mods at all and felt a pretty good increase. they are the only ones that are offering a cold air box realizing the just a cone filter is going to pull in hot air from the engine compartment. honestly i think they are 1 of the best intakes on the market for any vehicle. they have the composite material that doesnt conduct nearly as much heat as most intakes out there. i mean even with a cold air the pipe gets hot as hell at the t/b.

yeah the non-metal intakes seem to be the best out there. FIPK II is not to bad according to others, iceman is still up in the air since no one seems to have one for their 7thgen, and volant's design should work well in theory but until someone gets one no one will know. anyone got money laying around?

Wow I'd be pissed if I bought it on eBay and it wasn't actually that intake.
PS. Metal intake tubes get hot regardless of if they're "cold air" intakes or not.
Plastic or "composite" or whatever FIPK II is doesn't. I drove for an hour straight, opeend the hood, put my hand on it, and it was cool to the touch.
