should i get injen cai or AEM intake? which will give me better gains?
j/k my question is, recently when i start my car my intake is making a sound that sounds like a supercharger, a engine wine sound. It goes away when i start driving, but sometimes i can still hear it. Is this due to the cold weather? its around 50 degrees now. I don't remember my intake sounding like this last winter? It sounds awesome, just don't want there to be any problems, thanks

hey, if it sounds cool and the check engine light didn't come on, don't worry about it! lol jk. check and make sure everything is bolted up and lined up.

Isn't that sound what we go for when we replace our intakes?

I've heard alot of people say that Injen short ram makes a sound as if a turbo is spooling up.

intakes don't sound like superchargers....turbos and superchargers sound totally different... and i have injen CAI not short ram, plus, it never started to sound like this until recently after a whole year

I noticed that sound at one point, almost like alternator whine. It went away tho in a few weeks. It mostly happened when it got really cold outside.
