what kinda pulleys are u talking about? and also pulleys will not do that much on our cars.

i think the unorthodox racing pullies would be a better bet. every pound you can take off of the crank is going to be way more noticable than off of the accessory pullies. now way more noticable on our cars you might get like 5 hp if that. and thats a pretty big if.

i have the unorthodox pullie kit...crank, alt, ps....definitely feels faster, but like stated above..probably just in my mind....pulls harder after 4000rpm's

AEM pullies from the reviews I saw, dont do much for the Civic, but will smooth things out.

i heard that the aem pulley isn't good cause it underdrives your alt and ps...(not spinning as fast as oem)...so ur battery dies quicker etc...

Lol, old news but crank pulleys are the ones that cause problems. The aem isn't gonna mess up anything. There is a warning somewhere about running big systems, but most people here don't have that many watts. If anything, I would think underdriving the alternator would make it last longer. Battery doesn't need constant changing.

the crank pulley normally causes problems in cars that have a harmonic dampener. our cars are internaly balanced so you shouldn't have any problems.

Our crank pulley DOES have a harmonic damper. Someone opened the stock pulley and found it (rubber piece between the halves).
