if you don't care about cosmetics, i'd say gut the damn thing! i swear it would be such a different car afterwords. alot of people on here don't truly comprehend the difference weight makes on a car. taking out pounds increases your acceleration breaking performance and weight distribution... or just put in a pair of 15" subs in the trunk with fifty plasmas plastered across the entire interior.lol...that will get you from point a to point b faster.lol

Cleared headlights, throttle cable, both free. If you nave a TINY bit of cash, spend $20 and you have enough primer, sandpaper, and paint to do the center console, gauge bezel trim, door handle trim, and vents. Probably have enough to paint some engine bay parts too. Oh and if you're feelin gutsy, LED console conversion parts (LED's and resistors) aren't that expensive either, probably $20 as well (soldering iron extra). Want more? Take apart the intake and remove the resonator for a throatier sound - no power gains though.

whatever you do, don't take out the resonator. if you do, at least run a heatproof tube to a cool spot. just taking it out will make you lose a very good amount of low end power. i took it out but i ran a tube which cost me 10 bucks. check out my gallery pics. the bottom line is don't experiment with the intake. either leave it stock or get an intake. i just got a K&N FIPK II.
