cai on 2005 vp
cai on 2005 vp
i need some help. i have a 2005 honda civic vp at trans. Well i am dumb and want to put a cold air intake on it, come on gotta liven up the under hood some how. but anybody know what one would fit, ive been checking into aem and they said it came up special order. But i heard that its the same as an 04 dx, and the only difference is in the ac. i have looked at fenders which are stated to be 01-up but whats the deal with ground effects only going from 01-03, would those fit? BTW i ordered carbon fiber mirrors, with the led turn signals in them, they were for a 2004 four door, body style looks the same to me. and they were only 35 bucks, so i hope they fit. if anybody can help this newbie out id really appreciate it.

np with hijackin the thread. yeah your right the vp is between the dx, and the lx, the one that does not have the option to get a stickshift.
SRI?? ok im still dumb on that one, and i am imagining the heat shielding is because of the metal pipe heating up, so close to the engine?? heck ill be happy going to a 2-3" hole to let air in rather than my hole i have right now which is about 1"-1.5"

I have been recently looking and I believe Injen has a CAI for automatics. I think the race series is a CAI. SRI (Short Ram Intake) I believe. Has short pipe and filter sits inside the engine bay. Picks up alot more heat than CAI that sit farther out.
"duh" im an idiot short ram intaks ok, i thought injen had one i just wasnt sure, nothing but stock stuff has come out for the 2005 vp yet? thats why i ask if anyone knows if 04 sedan /dx stuff will work

stay away from ebay. rear strut tower bar does nothing. front strut tower bar is noticeable. rsx-s rear anti-sway bar is even more noticeable (especially if you have stokc suspension...mmm oversteer).
