Rep Power: 281 DH Racing Crank Pulley
On the true honda website it indicates that you gain 20hp from this DH Racing Crank Pulley. It only costs 125$. What's the story behind this? I know it has to be to good to be true.
it says
***Bypasses Air Conditioning, and Power Steering***
Does that mean the AC and power steering wont work with this?

Rep Power: 0 no proof that it causes engine damage... same basic design as a unorthodox pulley, just more streamlined to save weight... mine is awesome... on a stock car not big difference, how could you expect it? on a pretty well modded car, nice piece... i never get below 7psi with boost ssince i installed it.... i hit 9psi around 4krpm, shift at 6400rpm, and it goes straight back to 7psi, NO TURBO lag at all... i think it was a nice piece, problem is people are excpecting huge gains no stock cars... unorthodox doesnt make those either, in fact their pulley makes less power.. DH is making that claim on fully built motors... still a high number, but given that some turbo cars see 30+ whp with pulleys once they are fully built, its not impossible... good peice.. when you will pay $180 for 3hp from an intake, dont complain if you get 1-3 hp for $125... it also frees up the engine = more fun to drive...jm2c

Rep Power: 788 Lol no damper which is why it's so hard on the engine. I wouldn't feel good selling unless it's for a race motor where there is a greater chance of something breaking before the pulley causes problems.
Yes, it have been proven many times that these pulleys cause damage. Even AEM realizes this and doesn't make crank pulleys.
