Best sounding muffler for my '99 Si
Best sounding muffler for my '99 Si
I just just bought the Si on saturday and its my first import so I am very new. I was just wondering if anyone has any recomendations. Im not trying to make this a street racer or anything right now, so will just a muffler still make it sound good or will i have to get a whole new exhaust system.

try a site like clubsi.com or something. they would definally be able to tell you what thier opinion on exhausts are for those cars...i would say go with a full catback though. with that model/year civic there are tons of super nice exhaust systems for that car.
everyone has their own opinion on mufflers/exhaust sounds/performance.

if i had an 00 si, i'd get an es oval muffler (available in 2.25" or 2.5") and go with custom piping. cause when smog emissions come, i can just bolt back on the stock exhaust to pass it. if you dont have smog emissions, than muffer should be koo but might as well add few more bucks and get actual performance gains going the catback route.

I'm sorry but I find this hilarious: the ad at the top of this thread (at least for me) is for lawn mower parts. And it's an import exhaust thread. Get it? Haha. Ok n/m.
