Style Type Cat Backs

On Ebay they advertise Apexi and Greddy style cat backs does anyone know how good they are? If I can save money I will. Thanks.

TMRakip is an unknown quantity at this point
Since there's really no exhaust system that will really produce any noticeable power on a stock 7th gen civic, I don't think it matters if you go on the cheap. All it's going to do is make your car really loud. I have a performance exhaust on my racing M3 and I only had gains of about 10-15 HP, which is barely noticeable on that car. Those gains only came after much engine work anyways. If you have a turbo you could get some good gains with exhaust though.

Are the sound and performance gains you get out of name brand comparable?

I don't really know. I have 2 sets of catbacks, and neither are the only mod on the car. On my Civic I have an RS-R ExMag catback, but I also have a K&N FIPK-II, Random Technologies Hi-Flow Catalytic Converter and HP Racing Header. On my M3 I have Dinan Catbacks (yes, catbacks) amongst about $50k worth of other race related things. I don't think you will see much on a Civic name brand or not, as previously stated. I only get a little better response in my Civic, and I get better gas mileage than before, but I drive the Civic like a grandma.
