Question Injen Pipe Diameter

Well, I've been searching for this and I have not found anything.

I have not seen any of you talking about the diameter of the intakes, and I believe that's the second most important part of the system (for me, the first is where the filter is located)

Now, the AEM is 2.5" the upper section and 2.75" the lower section.

All the "no name" generic cold airs, wich are supposed to be AEM's replica are 2.5" both sections wich is really bad cause you are not giving enough ammount of air to the engine.

Now, I'm in the market for an Injen RD Series, and I would like to know the exact pipe diameter, it looks like it's wider than the AEM, but I'm not sure just by looking it in the pictures. Is it 3.0 inches all the way, 2.75" or 2.5" too??

Another question is: If we have a bigger displacement than the 1.6 d-series engines, why does they use 3" pipe for most of their intakes having excelent results in dyno tests and our intakes are only 2.5" pipes and the dynos are reaaally bad?

The piping is all 2.5 inches. The filter is also 2.5 inches. I am sure, I have the Injen RD CAI.

I think the Injen SRI has a larger diameter, at least that's what it looked like last time I saw one.
