non newbie intake question
I have a short ram ebay intake on the civic right now and I am thinking about switching back to the factory airbox with a k&n drop in filter. Anybody done any timed testing with the different setups? if not I will be doing some tests soon.
i belive "gearbox" tried the k&n filter in the stock air box, along with few other members? gearbox concluded that it was more worse for him while others were satisfied with it.
but me, never expierenced it but planning too in the future. let me know how it goes.

I've been through two intakes before switching to stock again. I'm using a napa gold PAPER filter that's top notch. K&N is horribe at filtering and only flows like .14% better or something. Lots of tests have been done comparing paper to K&N, and paper filtered better in every case. I bet the stock setup provides similar performance to an intake, since the tubes are about the same size as the TB.
What brand short ram did you get? I really want an AEMv2 CAI, but I don't think the weather up here in Connecticut will be very kind to it... Anyone else have recommendations for short ram brands?
