not as much as you wish. Shorter stick = shorter throw even though it is a cable system there is still some physics in the length of the stick. You sir still have stock length.

Granted, I've only had the Revo (with aluminum brushings), but I'm very happy with it. Also makes me feel better knowing that the entire shift assembly has been replaced and I don't have to worry about some tiny allen screw coming loose from an adapter (which I've heard happens occasionally... but that could just be some vast marketing conspiracy begun by Revo
.)

i got a revo repplica made by obx on ebay about a year ago- its still going strong, with capyoda bushings. you know what sux tho? after a couple days, youre not even going to notice the shortness anymore! until you go and drive someone elses car, then youre like wtf? am i on a noridic track?!
