Cool Injen RD Intake Installed / Brake Problem

2001 civic ex 2dr. 33,333mi (not under warranty)
It was a pain in the *** to get it in due to it was starting to rain and didn't take the bumper off or jack it up. It is pretty loud when you gun it and kinda whistles when you hit the gas. Took It on a test drive up to about 60 with the hood cracked open, oops. Kinda hard to tell if I got the connections tight enough due to my belts making a little squeel. But there pretty tight.

Also do any of you have a gess on a fix for a little brake problem I have. The brakes when stopping some times wanna keep on slidding. Last few times it did it I heard a spring like sound. Usually under a fast stop and after I hit a pump. Got aftermarket pads now and rotors turned and new tires as reccomended by dealer. Dealer dosent like the pads though but it did it with oem pads so that cant be it, it can do it driving straight or turning in to a parking lot while breaking. Any help will be great .

The "Spring Like" sound you hear is the ABS system and is completely normal on every car with ABS systems. When you brake hard, the ABS just activates and that's the sound it makes every time it tries to stop the wheels from locking, so there's nothing to worry about.
