Apexi GT SPEC vs Tanabe SMR or SMH...

hi i wanted people's opinions on these two exhausts,

Apexi GT SPEC

Tanabe SMR or the SMH

i'm planning on getting an exhaust for my '04 Civic Ex coupe, but i wasn't sure what i should get cuz i've never heard the APEXI gt spec yet or the Tanabe SMR... i like the sound of the SMH and i like the low growl it has, if anyone has any sound clips of the APEXI GT SPEC or the TANABE SMR that'd be great. and i'd like to know what all you people think about these exhausts i have listed cuz i dont want to have to regret getting an exhaust cuz it's half a G. thanks

I have the injen RD intake and I like it. Alot of people will tell you to get the K&N because it gives good gains. but others will tell you that all the intakes for our car give about 1-2 HP increase. It is just a matter of sound.

Try listening to the exhaust sound clips. I have the dc tcs exhaust. But, out of the choices, I'd go with the tanabe.

i wouldn't suggest going for the Apexi GT Spec for two reasons. 1, if your car isn't turbo you're gonna lose a shitload of low-end power and torque because the piping is 3.75 inches in diameter. 2, the piping and muffler is gonna sound really crappy with a 1.7 liter motor. I suggest either the Apexi WS (thats what I have) or the GReddy Evo.

^yes, the apexi world sport I (or II?) has a real clean sound to it. its not too loud, not quiet, its in the middle range and gives a great sound. i dont have any sound clips but i was planning on purchasing this until i figured out im gonna hand my car to my bro.

skunk2 megapower = nice catback too. heard it in person and it doesnt give that buzzy sound or high pitched bitch noise

you should check out the exhaust clips provided in the "other parts" forums
