The Denso Iridium IK20's are a total waste of money. They don't help performance any more than any new, properly designed plug would. No noticeable difference of any type (MPG, performance, smoothness, etc) versus the stock NGK's.

You will notice a difference if the stock plugs are getting bad. I still say stick with ngk for plugs. I have iridium and it's nice and smooth.

thanks for playin? what the hell is that supposed to mean? the chances of him properly torquing the plugs down with anti-seize is slim to none. wont happen, engine will suffer as a result. have fun with your $50 spark plugs in your basically stock civic ponyman. moron.
^^^Alright, whatever...I'm just saying that if people are going to fu(k up an engine that it isn't going to be because of spark plugs...but the name calling, that is cool too....

Let me get this right you think that some one can actually ruin their engine because they change their spark plugs too soon? LOL
What’s with the name-calling? Should you intimidate us?

Well okay. All these fancy plugs won't help at all on a stock car. Only reason I got mine were to replace the stupid stock plugs that were ruined. Oh and if you don't torque the plugs to the right specs, you WILL blow the engine eventually from overheating.

I think that if you don’t torque the plugs to proper setting then you run a higher risk of stripping it (whish you will know as soon as you striped the head), or too lose and having the sparkplug shoot out of the head.

by changing plugs too soon? no. by improperly changing them? yes. spark plugs do a lot more than produce a spark.
whyd i use the name calling? because someone else had to initiate the immature behavior by thinking he knew everything and thought they had shut me up.. or somethin

Torque is how tight you turn the plug in the cylinder. There are special torque wrenches that measure this. Mine has a needle that goes up as you turn it. When it reaches 13 ft/lbs, you stop tightening.

I used denso iridium ik16 for my 1.6 sentra before. it worked great since i installed tehm before, they never fouled up again unlike my old copper type spark plugs.
My bro uses splitfire tripple platinum on his Si. and it helped somewhat on his low end torque. since his car is fitted with cams and all that...
was wondering if I should go with denso's iridium or Splitfire tripple plats? they are almost priced the same here in our place.
I sold my sentra and got an 04 civic vtec, (1.6 3 stage vtec) since we don't have the 1.7 d17 available here. but it's almost the same thing we have the same head and tranny. just wondering if you guys have the same vtec also
