aem intakes better then injen
my friend owns a 03 ex and i own a 04 vp and i got my intake a little while ago AEM sri and he has injen cai. we were crusin and he and i noticed that his intake even when at high rpms isnt loud and we dont even feel an increase he was disapointed and wanted to see how my car rode with the intake. well he hella like it better and said it sounded hella deeper and nice and more better trottle response. Just wanted to know how many people agree that aem sri, cai or v2 make better intakes then iceman, injen, dc, etc.
I like my Injen CAI. I think it gives it a nice tone, not to loud and not to quite. I mean i don't want my car to sound like a rice rocket. As far as throttle response I don't know about that whole deal, sri is sucking in warmer air than a cai so performance should be less or else everyone would buy a sri over the more expensive cai.

I had an AEM SRI and will never put that thing in again. Lost tons of low end and maybe gained 1-2hp high end. Stock is way better. All metal intakes don't perform very well. Stick with K&N fipk if you want a small high end gain with minimal low end loss. It's the best intake for our cars.
Tone for the sri settups are better cause you can hear it....personally i have the sri injen and i love it...sounds great and even though there isn't much of a horsepower + the throttle response is better

I know its an RSX but I dont understand
Everyone is saying you don't get anything out of an intake but by far.....YOUR WRONG.....if you do your homework and by the right intake for your needs you will be fine....Check out these numbers from INJEN's website....and tell me im wrongINJEN

its all personal choice. me i love injen, cant stand aem for there intakes. think that injen gives better response also. who cares about sound! just cuzz its sound loud dosent mean its better. it just means, u can get a ticket a whole lot faster. your going to get a half and half response from everyone. thoes who like aem hate injen thoes who like injen hate aem.

I'll give it to AEM. Those intakes do look nice, but you won't gain any extra power. Only thing I didn't like was the high-pitched sound all the time and loss of throttle response. Look at it this way--when you decide to put the stock airbox back on, you'll get more power, haha.
