Question Universal ES Muffler

http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/produc...roducts_id=543

has anyone had expierence with this muffler? im thinking about purchasing one just for the looks. but im trying to figure out the sound quality and a cheaper place to buy this kinda muffler?

i know flowmaster and magnaflow makes oval style universal mufflers but someone referred me to this muffler. im just trying to replace the muffler because im not worrying about performance, so what im looking for is the sound and appearance. im trying to get a mellow sound, deep and rumble. and no stainless steel for me.

That is a ugly muffler, but if you like it, go for it. I would persoanlly go with a n1 muffler or tanabe muffler.

those mufflers i wouldnt risk having. because the police here are real strict on car modifications. i would've went with the round stainless steel mufflers if the police here werent so strict.

reason why i wanted this muffler is because it doesnt attract attention and i plan on running my car with no cat in the future.

ES is a good muffler if u want to be low pro oem style but w/ no cat its going to be LOUD! its still a performance muffller stright trew design, so w/ any performance muffler there will some kinda of tone.. the only thing about these w/ no cat is they sound like a ricey! **********er really LOUD high piched...some things u may want to think about..and its not so much what a muffler looks like that attract's attention as the dB's of the muffler how loud it is...and when u press on the gas on this biach u will attract alot of attention..
