Question axlebacks / mufflers

i have a lx, auto and i seached and looked around different forums for axlebacks/ mufflers and most people have the hks hi power axleback, they say its quiet compared to other axlebacks/ mufflers. i am trying to find a axleback/ muffler that has a nice deep sound, louder then then hks and deeper? has ne1 have info on other axlebacks/muffler ? fireball, apexi n1/ ws, megan, ractive?

its not going to be loud because you still have ur stock piping,
best bet is get a whold catback, if you want that nice deep sound.....

^^^ most catback kits come with 2.25" piping neway, unless u got hookups and can get the piping done for cheap or DIY, then get an APEXi n1, i heard those were loud, dunno how deep sounding they are though.

The problem with full catbacks for the LX is the downpipe. The majority of exhaust systems are designed for the EX. But Magnaflow and Tanabe have the downpipe extension for the LX models.

oh yea big difference, axleback will connect rite from ur resnator, catback from ur header down pipe all the way, u will get more gain with a catback, maybe a lil with the axleback maybe none, oh yea mufller nothing just look.. go with the catback. check ebay a whole catback runs from 200, and its not bad too.

I have just a ractive muffler welded onto make a custom axleback and it has a nice deep sound. It sounds nice because the factory resonator is still on there. That's all I have other than an intake and when floored my car has a nice roar to it. No weedeater sounds at all, it just sounds good.

it's just the muffler but to put it on the car it had to be welded to a pipe to fit so it was just made into a custom axleback. just a pipe with a muffler on the end basically, nothing special really but sounds good.
