Every Honda **** as far back as atleast 1988 has the same M10x1.5 thread in it... so every **** should be interchangable. It looks like you'd need the RSX accessory **** boot holder, but I think that should go in fine. It depends if that beveled silver thing on the bottom is part of the ****. If it is, then you should be golden. If its an extra piece, you're probably going to need that, and the Accord boot finisher. Cut the Civic one out of the top of the boot and zip tie/C ring the accord one into the boot. No big deal.
PS... that looks like the Civic stock **** with leather stitching and a silver shift pattern plate.... so don't pay too much for it.

The best shift **** that I've found and am currently using is the OEM 99-00 Si ****. It's short and stubby, shorter than many and has a good grip. Best part is it screws on to the shifter perfectly and the boot clips right up to it with no modification. You should be able to find one on clubsi.com for sale, many of them upgraded with spoon or mugen ***** (or other aftermarket *****) and might have theirs for sale.
the OEM si?
damn, that thing cost $100 buck or more.....damn, i brother got one....it's nice...
does that thing fit perfectly into our stock silver ring?
EDIT::
yo dude, which one's shorter, the stock civic **** or the si's?
hm...i think im gonna order honda element's...cos' it pretty sleek, i think...
and it should fit perfectly into civic's silver ring...
the crv's pretty expensive too...and i think it's too long...
just look at the pic..

however, rsx's pretty expensive...and, it doesn't fit perfectly into our civic's stock shift boot....with the silver ring...
but, im gonna look at it too though...
thanx!

however....that aluminium shift **** won't fit our stock silver ring right, right? u need the adaptor, right?
the OEM RSX shift **** should fit out stock shift boot nicely....right?
if this is correct, i think im gonna get the rsx's stock shift ****...the one w/ leather + aluminium-kinda thing...
hm...the pic shows that the rsx also uses the silver ring too!
u guys sure it fits our stock civic, right?

OEM rsx shift **** fits perfect with silver clip.
Get BASE rsx shift **** or OEM new SI leather shift ****.
Don't get Type S shift ****.
Optional aluminium shift **** will not fit with silver clip.

what about the base RSX shifter with the clip? Is there a need for that clip thingy with the base RSX shifter and silver collar? Would it hurt to fit one on? I want to be certain it will stay.
yo,
rsx's silver collar and civic's silver collar are the same...
they will surely fit.
if u wanna to see how they works,
try go to www.clubrsx.com's DIY page...and look under the "RSX shift **** accessory installation"
the rsx's accessory shift **** is the aluminum one....the DIY offers you a great detail on how to modify the silver collar! =)

To answer your question, yes the SI off of the 99-00 Si is shorter than the stock shift ****. It's the shortest one I found that would clip right on to our boot. it takes a total of about 2 min to swap them, if that. I saw one for sale on clubsi.com for around $12 shipped not to long ago.
