In 2 days i go in to get my Magnaflow cat back welded and hung higher. I like the sound of it but i want it a litle louder should i take off the resonator?? I'm leaning towards taking it off. Please give me some feed back because i go in 2 days.

eh not really. I took mine off and its a little raspy but not really all that "PAINFUL TO THE EARS" loud. I like actually.

Do it man. I know what you mean it's hella quiet!! so i took mine off to and had it welded as well.

I got just the muffler and I had the RES cut out because it wasn't loud enough. Now it sounds good on the stock exhaust system.

Ya the res is welded onto it but you can't just take it off and put a straight piece in because it has about a foot or so of pipe conected to one end.

yea only when you start from cold though...then the buzz goes away. i like it. I'm satisfied with it.

i wouldnt take it out i didnt have on them had a magnaflow one put in my 2.25 inch piping and it gave me some low end torque so if i was you i would leave it in

yea diffrent catback is usally diffrent sound if its not loud enough cut that sucka off, im thinking about cutting mine out also,

I just installed my Magnaflow on Sunday, it sounds great to me. Just the sound I was looking for. I wouldn't cut the resonator out.
