yah, i want to know too =)
so it is said that K&N makes the most gains with their FIPK2, so by placing a K&N filter in the RD intake, it would make great gains than other intakes since it is direct cold air flowing into the intake.

i have this intake too, and love it. People are like "what the hell is that?" when the look in my engine bay. I would also like to know what filter fits it! But to do that I'd have to take it apart, and Im really lazy.

so...did the company EVER come out with dynos for this thing? i remember wanting to get this like a year ago, but no one could get the performance numbers for this...and then the price shot up to like 200...so i decided not to buy it.
glad you guys like it, it looks really good, but anyone have actual performance stats on this?
and no, the K&N filter doenst fit this intake. the k&n is too big to fit in the plasic heat shield.

i Got one too off ebay....real agressive sound to it....tach revs way faster too with it...no complaints here! Think I paid $75 for it or something
start on ebay at $40....just got to wait for one usually they put like 5 up at once.

about the k&n filter...not neccessarily the ONE from the FIPK...but k&n makes a whole series of cone filters, and this uses some size of angled cone filter, and k&n almost definitely makes a cone filter of this size. That will probably increase performance over the cheap filter that came with the intake.
yeah; i wont have much free time this weekend, but I'll try to get the dimensions. Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to measure. I'm guessing the circumference of the base of the filter, the circumference of the top, and the distance between the two ends of the filter. But what about the angle? Cuz to fit inside the shroud, the filter's angled, not straight.
im planning on purschasing this intake soon. i was debating on buying this or the K N fipk2, but i just figured i would buy a K N filter cone to replace the the one that comes with rd...so has ne one measured the dimesions yet or found the K N replacment filter?
peace =)
