you cannot buy just a TPS for our cars. you have to buy a whole new TB.

Why wouldnt they sell it seperate? Mine has a faulty one in it right now, but the dealership says its good. So im gonna have a fun time trying to get them to replace it under warranty.

Kloverz has a little shameless behaviour in the past
naw if you want a TB go for the group buy DH racing CNC port and polish TB it will cost less plus get you some gains, its better to buy a Aftrmaket then a oem.

I don't see why they wouldn't sell it separately. Go to Majestic Honda
and get their number and call them up and order. It's cheaper than the usual Honda dealerships. Or like Vin said, try www.car-parts.com.

thats true, when my check engine light came on a while ago I went to auto zone and they said it was the throttle position sensor, when I took it to the dealer, they had to replace the whole throttle body.

sometimes when they go bad,if you have an auto tranny, you wont be able to get out of park unless you open that little box that sits next to the handle and place your key in there and turn it, pain in the ***. Also your tranny will mess up.

The TPS is used to control rpms. Its controlled the the ECU. The ECU tells the TPS where to set the rpms at. For instance, when the CTS(coolant temp sensor) reads that the coolant is cold, it tells the ECU that the engine needs to warm up. So the ECU tells the TPS to run at a higher rpm until the coolant temp warms up, then start reducing the rpms until normal operating temp is reached.

Sometimes they get gummed up and can be cleaned using a carb cleaner thats safe for rubber seals...

you could try a auto salvage place... I got a rear bumper cheep after someone hit my car in a parking lot... they had almost every part except form the drivers fender back to the gas door.
